Small town. big names

As the long-awaited and much talked about Costco development nears completion, and with the world's largest Target Superstore trailing close behind, Liberty Hill continues to gain recognition as one of Williamson County's fastest growing communities. As more and more expansive ranches hit the market, the path continues to clear for other national retailers to drop their own pins on the map. Located at Seward Junction, where the two main arteries of Liberty Hill - State Highway 29 and US Highway 183 - intersect, both Costco and Target seized the opportunity to capture an already massive customer base that continues to expand exponentially, and other major retailers such as Wal-Mart and TJ Maxx will soon capitalize on the same as they will soon reside in the north-and-southwest corner of Highway 29 and Ronald Reagan Blvd, a rapidly emerging artery of Liberty Hill's eastern territory.

infrastructure follows suit

Along with a growing population comes the need for infrastructure expansion, and anyone who's driven in or around Liberty Hill has taken notice of many new roads, traffic lights, and most notably, the expansion of the US 183A Toll Road, which now offers commuters a much quicker trip to and from work in Austin and has begun to ease some almost crippling congestion in town. As Williamson County continues to look ahead, more new and expanded roads will continue to accommodate the growth that, for now, shows no signs of slowing. In addition to vehicular infrastructure, Liberty Hill aims to have their Water Purification Facility online by 2030-2031, offering much needed relief on its water demand through the continued growth.

what it all means

Though it comes with some growing pains, living in Liberty Hill offers a vast array of rewards. From its award-winning school district and athletic programs to some of the best eateries on the Central Texas map and a growing list of major retailers opening their doors, there has never been a better time to find one's own slice of the pie. Think of it this way: Major national retail chains don't just randomly select their locations. They are highly calculated decisions based upon many factors, but the bottom line is - the surrounding growth translates to one thing: Value. As most major markets continue to correct nationwide, Liberty Hill home values continue to hold strong as the demand to live in this gem of a Central Texas town remains as high as ever.
