History was made earlier this month when Legacy Ranch High School, Liberty Hill's newest campus slated to open this fall, earned the opportunity of a lifetime when their Cheer Team was invited to participate in the 100th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. This unprecedented achievement, especially considering that Legacy Ranch's cheer program is only in its second season, is yet another shining achievement added to Legacy Ranch's already-long list of similar accolades. Another notable fact is that the squad is a 100% freshmen-led team - an impressive feat itself. 

With an impressive showing at last year's UIL State competition, keeping on pace with the state's Top 20 schools in their division, Legacy Ranch, throughout all of its athletic programs, has arrived with a fierce determination to show Liberty Hill and beyond just what they are made of. The trophy cases are already stacking the awards and accolades and, if their current trajectory is any indicator, they'll soon be bursting at the seams.

When the Legacy Ranch cheer squad formed, nearly 75% of the athletes had never even cheered before. This is another prime example of the infectious spirit and determination that can be found at every grade level and within every program across this small town with a big heart. Liberty Hill breeds champions. Liberty Hill supports their own. Liberty Hill is a bright and shining star on the map. 

Exponential growth aside, this is nothing new to a town that holds high expectations and invests heavily in its youth. But it's worth noting that growth can often dilute these hyper-focused programs built upon decades of champion-minded players, teachers and coaches alike. However, in Liberty Hill, this just isn't the case.
